I've been running classes since November 2017, and happy to share that they've been well received and attended. I've had lovely feedback from my amazing students, some beginners, some experienced yogi's wanting to deepen their practice. They've found the classes relaxing and good fun and have come away feeling calm yet invigorated after using their bodies in different ways. We work very gently, mindfully, listening and honouring our bodies in each session, often working with closed eyes so that we aren't tempted to compare ourselves with others. The classes begin with relaxation and breathwork to bring us into our bodies, and end with a soothing 15 minute guided relaxation. As with my therapies, I aim to provide a nuturing space where it is possible to learn and grow at your own pace.
My classes are held on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays at the wonderfully peaceful Notley Yoga Centre near Great Notley, Braintree. CM77 7QW

After completing a British Wheel of Yoga Foundation 1 course in 2016 with Emma Turnbull, I've recently completed my yoga teacher training with Victoria Adamson at the Apanaveda School of Yoga.
'The Apanaveda School of Yoga's philosophy is based on the 8 limbs of Raja yoga to create a yoga class where its participants feel completely comfortable and cared for; that they understand exactly what is happening to the physical body in asanas with confident guidance from a compassionate and knowledgeable teacher'.
Apanaveda classes include:
* Breath awareness in postures.
* Postures with guidance on self-awareness and limitations.
* Mindfulness practice throughout the class with a guided meditation or yoga nidra at the end of each
* Yama and niyama awareness and guidance throughout the class (yogic philosophy).
